says William Vossgård, founder and managing director of Noteless.

Noteless is currently working on a research and development project with a cost framework of 16.2 million kroner, which will last until 2025. "We are now covering 19 percent of the costs through the Norwegian Research Council's Skattefunn scheme," says William Vossgård, founder and managing director of Noteless.

The company uses artificial intelligence to simplify and streamline the writing of journal notes for doctors and other healthcare professionals. Shifter recently reported that the health technology company generates two million kroner in monthly revenue, one year after its launch.

The company was founded by the trio Vossgård, Mikkel Dahl Slettebø, and Sarakan Sivakanesan—and has, among other things, brought former Meltwater partners on board as owners. The R&D funds will be used to develop a web platform, algorithms and language models, and speech-to-text models for Scandinavian languages with a focus on including all local dialects, as well as pilot testing new solutions.

"We have a very skilled software development and machine learning team that is well underway with this project. Going forward, we will actively seek talent that can contribute to the development of this project," says Vossgård.
