User-Friendliness in Focus

Usability Testing in Practice: Why Feedback from Users Is Invaluable
These days, we’re working full speed to launch new tools on the platform. As part of this effort, we’re conducting more usability tests than usual – with both new and existing customers. Usability testing is all about finding out whether a product – for instance, a website or an app – is easy and intuitive to use. The goal is to uncover what works well and, just as importantly, what users find difficult or confusing when interacting with the product.
Last week, for example, we visited our great partner Ygdra to test the newly launched Noteless Assistant. Even though the assistant generally worked well for users who had never seen it before, we discovered some key areas for improvement that will make it even more intuitive and easy to use – especially for first-time users.

A specific example is the need for a clearer start button, so it’s obvious where to click to get started. We also noticed that the command input field could be hard to spot if you didn’t already know where it was.

This kind of insight is incredibly valuable to us! No solution is perfect, and as a team that is constantly working to create something user-friendly and intuitive, we truly appreciate all the feedback we receive. We're also very grateful for the opportunity to go out and test the solution with real users.
A big thank you to all the fantastic people who take the time to participate in testing and discussions – you're helping to drive Noteless forward!
